3D Vision fix for Dragon Ball FighterZ. This uses the UE4 universal fix as the base (thanks to DHR).
Fixed (compared to the universal fix)
- Realistic specular reflections, although not too important for this game.
- Depth added to some screen depth effects.
- HUD depth presets and toggle (nice for screenshots).
- Automatic high convergence (300) for battles, while intros, outros and dramatic scenes use low convergence. Special moves are at high convergence, but holding R1 or R2 (XB_RIGHT_SHOULDER or XB_RIGHT_TRIGGER) will reduce convergence too for these cases.
- Extra hotkeys.
Known issues
- In a few stages the sun is reflected on the water at screen depth. I couldn't fix this.
- The game can't be played online with EAC.
Installation
- Download this file and extract its contents in the "DRAGON BALL FighterZ\RED\Binaries\Win64" folder, where "RED-Win64-Shipping.exe" is.
- Make a shortcut to the game exe ending in " -eac-nop-loaded" (no quotes). This will disable EAC. You can enter online rooms but you can't fight real people.
- Run the game and let it overwrite the Nvidia profile when asked. Make sure you play in exclusive fullscreen.
Hotkeys (numbers aren't from the numpad)
- F1: convergence presets. Default is 60 when not in battle or the hub and 300 in battle. Edit the "[PresetBattle]" to change that.
- F2: HUD depth presets. Screen depth by default.
- F3: HUD toggle. Not disabled by default.
- F4: cel shading toggle, of the post processing type (models can still have some thin lines). Not disabled by default.
- F5: FXAA toggle. Not disabled by default.
- F6: bloom presets (x0, x0.8, x0.9, x0.95, x1). x1 by default.
- 2: multiple black and white color modes, that only affect ingame graphics (not the HUD). Try them for a more manga-like feel. Not used by default.
- XB_RIGHT_SHOULDER or XB_RIGHT_TRIGGER: hold one of these keys to temporarily switch to low convergence. Especially important for special moves, which usually are close-ups of the characters.
- 0: specular reflections depth toggle. By default these reflections have their natural realistic depth. Using this hotkey, they switch to the depth of their surface. In this game, you might prefer using this hotkey, because of how the graphics are.
Recommendations
I recommend disabling FXAA (F5 key). It makes the graphics too blurry for my taste.
